LAHORE: A couple was killed for honour here on Monday while one of the accused was taken into custody, police said.
According to the details, the incident took place in a suburban village of Manawan, where Nabeela and Usman were abducted after expressing the desire to marry each other.
The accused brutally tortured the two before killing them and fled the scene after leaving their bodies behind.
The police took the bodies into custody and shifted them to a hospital for postmortem.
One of the accused were arrested whereas a case has been registered into the incident.
Police are carrying out raids to arrest others involved.
