Kiani says govt to revamp health infrastructure

ISLAMABAD: Minister for National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Aamir Mehmood Kiani said that the government has planned to revamp the entire health infrastructure at a cost of Rs 14 billion.

Talking to media here, he said a nursing university will be set up with an amount of Rs 10 billion to address the increasing shortfall of nursing staff in hospitals.

The minister said a 300-bed general hospital will be established at Tramari in Islamabad with the financial support of Saudi Arabia at an estimated cost of Rs2.5 billion.
