LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended the interim bails of former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique in the Paragon Housing Society scandal till November 26.
As the previous extension of the interim bail expired on Wednesday, the court extended the interim bail by 12 days, and will resume the hearing on Nov 26.
The brothers appeared before the court, however, Saad’s lawyer Azam Nazeer Tarar and Khawaja Salman Rafique’s lawyer Amjad Pervez had already submitted an exemption plea due to their busy schedule.
Previously, the protective bail of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders was extended by 15 days on October 24.
