LAHORE: The Qila Gujar Singh police have lodged a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for NA-124 by-poll Ghulam Mohiuddin Dewan for show of weapons.
As per the details, the First Information Report (FIR) against Dewan and four of his gunmen was registered after they displayed weapons during a corner meeting on Saturday evening.
According to the FIR, the case has been registered under section 11B/188.
PTI has fielded Ghulam Mohiuddin Dewan in NA-124 against rival Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
