ISLAMABAD – After missing out on the squad for the upcoming Asia Cup owing to a lack of fitness, all-rounder Imad Wasim has purchased a new hairband and sunglasses.
Talking exclusively to The Dependent Wasim confessed that he was disappointed at missing out on the squad and vowed to make a comeback soon.
“I honestly don’t think there’s any fitter guy in the entire squad. And I’m not the one claiming that, that’s what the girls say,” the all-rounder said.
“So of course I was naturally disappointed at being unfairly booted out, given the circumstances. But yes, I will make a comeback for the next tour looking fitter than before,” he added.
Wasim revealed that he was well-prepared for future assignments and has already started working on future fitness tests.
“I have just purchased a new hairband. Even though my hair isn’t long enough right now, it will be when the next fitness test is held,” the left-hander said.
“So I have got new gel as well, along with some really hot winter headgear. Oh and sunglasses too! You know how fit I look with those!” the Karachi Kings skipper concluded.
