In an unusual incident of abduction, an eight-year-old girl was kidnapped after being snatched from her mother at Karachi’s Napier Road area, media reports said.
According to reports, the minor girl was snatched from her mother who was standing outside her apartment building near Napier police station on Wednesday.
The minor’s mother told police that a veiled woman first greeted her then almost immediately snatched her daughter from her hand and ran away. She added that she cried for help and people nearby tried to come up for help but the woman managed to escape with her daughter.
A case was later registered in Napier police station and the law enforcement agency has launched an investigation into the incident.
