Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman on Monday announced that the moon of Muharram-ul-Haram, the first month of the 1440 Hijri, had not been sighted throughout the country therefore the first of Muharram will be on Wednesday, Sept 12.
Ashura will be observed on Sept 21.
