LAHORE: A First Information Report (FIR) was registered over the alleged rape of a minor girl four days ago in the provincial capital’s Kot Lakhpat area, said authorities on Friday.
The FIR was registered at the Kot Lakhpat Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s father.
A resident of Chandraye village, he alleged that his 13-year-old daughter was gang-raped by five men on September 3.
He explained that his daughter was kidnapped on gunpoint and taken to a house where she was gang-raped.
The men had threatened to make a video on the crime public if he did not pay Rs50,000, the father claimed.
The girl has been shifted to a hospital for medical evaluation.
