Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput welcomed their second child on Wednesday.
According to reports in the Indian media, Mira gave birth to a baby boy at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Her mother Bela Rajput also arrived at the hospital along with other family members including Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim, Shahid’s step-brother and actor Ishan Khatter.
Shahid and Mira are also parents to their daughter, two-year-old Misha.
The two tied the knot in July 2016 after a brief courtship. Their marriage was entirely an arranged one. Speaking about his wife, Shahid, in a recent interview said, “I got lucky. I married Mira. She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.”
The actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which is scheduled to release on September 21.
