Two girls sexually abused in Sargodha

Two girls were reportedly sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Sargodha on Tuesday.

According to a police official, a man broke into the house of a resident of Bhagtanwala, and allegedly raped her while she was sleeping. However, when the victim created noise, the accused fled the scene. The girl was shifted to the hospital for treatment and medical tests.

A case was registered against the suspects on the complaint of victim’s father and raids were conducted to arrest them.

Meanwhile, girl’s father informed the police that the accused wanted to marry his daughter and often used to visit his house. He added the culprit took advantage of the situation and allegedly raped her.

In another incident, a girl was sexually abused during a robbery bid in Jhari Wala Village.

The police said that the victim was asleep in her home, along with other family members, when three men barged into her house and stole Rs 15,000 cash and jewellery. The accused allegedly raped the girl and fled with the booty.
