Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is expected to leave for the US and UK for medical check-up, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
Nisar has not submitted his nomination papers for he upcoming by-elections.
He has also not yet taken oath as Punjab Member Provincial Assembly (MPA).
He failed to emerge victorious in any National Assembly constituency during the recently conducted general elections.
