Four members of the same family were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside their house in Lahore Johar Town.
Rizwan Butt, his wife Sumaira, and their sons Arsal and Abu Bakr, were found dead by lodgers residing in the upper portion of the house that Butt had rented out.
Butt was 42 years old, Sumaira was 32, Arsal was nine and Bakr was seven.
Police suspected that a gas leakage might have caused the deaths.
Bodies were sent for postmortem, according to Investigation Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Khurram Ali Shah.
