Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) leader Abrarul Haq on Tuesday filed an appeal in the Lahore High Court against election results in Narowal’s NA-78 constituency.
The PTI leader made Ahsan Iqbal and returning officer as respondents in his petition and alleged that the election in the constituency were rigged that resulted in a win for the PML-N leader.
The singer-turned-politician said in the plea he submitted an application to the returning officer for recounting in the constituency but no action was taken.
