KARAK: Five of a family were killed in a road accident on Indus Highway near Hamidan Chowk in Karak when a car and coaster collided in the wee hours of Monday.
According to the police, all persons present in the car died on the spot, while those in the coasters got minor injuries.
The deceased belonged to the same family and were residents of North Waziristan. They were en route to Peshawar from Bannu, while the coaster was going towards Lakki Marwat from Peshawar.
Police said that the accident was the result of speeding on the highway.
