PTI MPs want family members awarded tickets for by-elections

Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to face a challenge with the upcoming by-elections scheduled for October 14 as individuals who vacated the seats wish their family members are awarded party tickets, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.

While Khan has maintained his opposition to dynastic politics, he has had to make compromises in the recent past in the awarding of tickets.

According to reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Pervez Khattak, Asad Qaiser, Shah Farman and Ali Amin Gandapur are some of the important personalities that sought party tickets for their families to contest in the by-elections.
