As many as 2,000 police personnel have been deployed in the capital in a move to enhance security in Islamabad during Eid holidays, according to police.
All Eid congregations will also be secured by police personnel.
Moreover, a specialised security plan has also been formulated for Faisal Mosque.
Those entering the mosque would have to walk through scanners and walk-through gates.
Furthermore, bomb disposal squads will also scan various areas of the capital.
