KHANEWAL: Thousands of litre oil was spilled and two were injured when an oil tanker overturned here on Sunday.
Police said that Sahiwal-bound oil tanker coming from Mehmoodkot turned turtle in Khanewal. The driver of the tanker along with two other people was injured in the accident while thousands of litre oil was spilled.
The police and rescue personnel rushed to the scene of the incident and started the rescue operation. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
