The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered Rs8.1 million from a former Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) employee.
Moreover, Rawalpindi NAB Director-General Irfan Mangi has sent a cheque pertaining to the amount to PARC Chairman Yusuf Zafar.
Former PARC scientific officer (SO) Muzaffar Nishat had been accused of corruption and had been declared as a proclaimed offender (PO).
A red warrant had also been issued for the PO.
The PARC SO had violated PARC rules by making fraudulent advance payments.
