LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) division bench on Friday dismissed a petition against acceptance of nomination papers of the former provincial minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz minority candidate Khalil Tahir Sindhu.
The division bench headed by Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard the petition filed by Farhad Bhatti.
The petitioner had contended that the respondent- candidate Khalil Tahir Sindhu did not disclose complete assets
and accurate details of his family members in the nomination papers for besides submitting the false declaration to the
returning officer. He pleaded with the court to set aside the decision of accepting the nomination papers of the respondent while allowing his petition.
