The officials had initially been suspended because the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had started an inquiry against them over their allegedly illegal promotions.
Suspended officials of the CDA included Khalil Ahmed Soomro, Najma Azhar, Safdar Ali Shah, Irfan Niazi and Ammaduddin.
The officials were barred from drawing their salaries until the completion of the probe against them, according to the earlier notification issued by the CDA.
