MULTAN: The Multan Electric Power Supply Company (MEPCO) arrested seven power thieves and seized power cables here on Friday.
Taking notice of public complaints, the MEPCO team conducted operation against the power thieves in Shawan and surrounding areas of Multan. During the operation, seven culprits involved in power theft were arrested and hundreds of meters power cables were recovered.
The recovered electricity cables were taken into possession, and the detainees were being interrogated after registering cases against them.
