Punjab govt holds meeting to deliberate tree plantation in Lahore: report

LAHORE: A meeting, chaired by Begum Zakia Shahnawaz, Minister for Environment, was held here to discuss the situation of tree plantation in different parts of the city and province, reported a local English newspaper.

The attendees of the meeting discussed the strategy of tree plantation in Lahore and future plans of the PHA and Forest Department.

EPA (EDH) Punjab Director Nasimur Rehman highlighted the significance of trees and requested the participants to communicate their efforts, achievements and future plans in this regard.
