Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman requested everyone on Saturday to stop asking for free tickets to the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition in Lahore and Karachi, urging the ‘VIP’ persons to buy tickets.
Najam Sethi took to Twitter and said, “Please don’t ask me for free passes. You can all afford to pay.”
He directed his request to all “family, friends, government top officials, corporate bigwigs, VIPs, and wannabe VIPs,” adding that the tickets to the matches in Karachi and Lahore can still be purchased “online or from TCS centres” in both cities.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had announced yesterday that at least 300 shuttle buses would be hired to transport people from different areas of the city to the National Stadium on occasion of the final match of PSL 2018 to be held at on March 25, 2018. “This is the first event and it would be followed by many other international events”, he assured.
Preparations are underway in full swing at the Karachi’s National Stadium for the grand finale of PSL. With just over two weeks left in the big day, construction workers and ground curators are playing their part to give the event a historical end. Repairing activities are happening regularly.
A notification was issued by the Bahadurabad police station saying that all buildings, marriage halls, hotels, business centres and other offices within the vicinity of the ground will remain closed during the match.
