ISLAMABAD: Former president and Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated the people of Balochistan for observing Baloch Cultural Day.
In a message, he said that culture of a nation highlights the civilization of that nation. PPP’s founding chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had established the Lok Virsa keeping this in mind, he pointed out.
Zardari said that respect for elders and women and love for the children were part of this culture. “We must not forget our positive cultural values,” he said, adding that extremism can be countered with cultural activities.
