Internet outage reported in Lahore

LAHORE: Sporadic internet disconnection was reported across certain areas of Lahore on Thursday but the exact cause could not be ascertained.

The issue affected various ISPs, including Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Cybernet and Storm Fiber. Mobile data providers like Zong, Telenor, Mobilink and Ufone were also affected.

Reportedly, the problem started at 12 pm and continued intermittently. Popular websites also became inaccessible.

The root cause of the problem could not be ascertained.

As per CyberNet’s helpline, the issue still persists but some improvements have been made.

Pakistan Today reached out to PTCL for a comment but received no response by the time of publishing of this report.
