ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing on Tuesday called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar in his chambers after assumption of office.
The ambassador briefed the chief justice on the bilateral relationship of Pakistan and China especially in connection with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CEPC), said a press release issued here on Tuesday.
The envoy also extended an invitation on behalf of the Peoples Court of China to the chief justice to visit China during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conference for which formal request will be extended to the chief justice through the Pakistan Embassy.
The ambassador thanked the CJP for sparing time to meet him.
