QUETTA: A gas pipeline was blown up in an explosion near Jalal area of Bolan district on Thursday.
According to Levies sources, unknown men had attached improvise explosive devices (IED) with the pipeline supplying gas to Bakhtiarabad and Shoran area, which went off.
A portion of the gas pipeline was damaged in the blast, which caused suspension of gas supply to respective areas.
Afterwards, Levies force cordoned off the entire area and started efforts to trace out suspects.
