As many as 6900 policemen will be deployed to provide security during the 10th death anniversary programme of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux on December 27.
Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal said this while talking to media at Garhi Khuda Bux on Thursday. He said foolproof security arrangements would be made during the event. He said the traffic police, special branch and CTD personnel would also be deployed who would be monitored by DIGs and SSPs.
He said a meeting has already been held in this connection which was attended by DIGs of Larkana & Sukkur, Abdullah Shaikh and Khadim Rind, respectively.
He said a large number of party workers would take part in the anniversary gathering. He said their leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would announce party policy in the gathering during his address on December 27.
