LPG association announces protest against heavy import duty

LAHORE: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) association has announced a protest against the imposition of heavy import duty.

According to reports, the association has stated that if the import duty will not be waived off, the LPG suppliers will have no choice but to start a shutter down strike.

The association has further intimated that the protest will start from December 9th and will go on until relevant action by the authorities is not taken.

It merits mention here that protest against the increase in LPG prices has been seen in the city in the past few days. Two days ago rickshaw drivers also went on strike against the price hike and demanded instant relief from concerned authorities.
