KARACHI: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to Muscat and arrested an accused here on Sunday.
The ASF spokesman said during the search of baggage of a passenger leaving for Muscat through a private airline flight at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport Karachi, heroin concealed in tin used to pack ‘halwa’ was recovered and the accused was held.
The recovered heroin is worth millions of rupee in the international market. The detainee and recovered drug were handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force for further investigation.
