KARACHI: During an operation conducted by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Friday, 55 Indian fishermen were arrested near Pakistan’s coast for violating maritime boundaries.
A spokesman of PMSA said that 55 Indian fishermen were detained and their boats seized for fishing in Pakistani waters. The detained Indian fishermen have been handed over to the docks police.
It is worth mentioning that fisherman violating maritime boundaries are routinely arrested and released by authorities on either side.
