KARACHI: A suspect was killed in a police encounter in Lyari area of the metropolis early on Friday.
According to rescue sources, a police team conducted a search operation in Lyari where a suspect, Ahsan Mahajir, 25, opened fire on the police team. The police retaliated to the gunfire, killing the accused on the spot.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
