KARACHI: A woman died after falling off a building in Saeedabad area of the metropolis on Monday.
According to rescue sources, a 35-year-old woman named Lali Jan fell down from the rooftop of a building in Saeedabad. As a result, she sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot. Her body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
Separately, a minor child drowned in an underground water storage tank in Gulshan-e-Behar Colony area of the metropolis on Monday. According to rescue sources, a two-year-old Eman, daughter of Nadeem, fell into the water tank of her house and drowned. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
