LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday raided a spice manufacturing factory and recovered adulterated spices weighing over 9,000 kilogrammes. The factory was sealed following the recovery.

PFA recovers 9,000 kg adulterated spices, seals factory

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday raided a spice manufacturing factory and recovered adulterated spices weighing over 9,000 kilogrammes. The factory was sealed following the recovery.

Headed by Director Operations North, the PFA team raided the spices grinding and packaging factory in Wazirabad and seized over 9,000 kilogrammes of fake chilli powder and other spices.

Meanwhile, cases have been registered against the owners of the factory and a detailed investigation is in progress.
