Two security personnel killed in South Waziristan landmine blast

At least two security personnel were killed in a landmine blast in Angoora Adda area of South Waziristan on Monday.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the blast occurred in the remote Angoora Adda area of South Waziristan when security forces were carrying out a search operation.

The martyred security personnel were identified as Attaur Rehman and Ali Imran.

In another incident, at least two people were killed when a car struck a landmine on Monday.

Police said that a car with two people on board struck a landmine planted by the roadside by unknown miscreants in Pajak area of Panjgur.

The car was damaged in the blast resulting in the death of both motorists on the spot.
