An elite force security vehicle, in Nawaz Sharif’s rally, trampled a teenaged boy in Gujrat at Lalamusa road, according to initial reports.
However, none of the vehicles stopped to help the boy who reportedly died on the spot, according to eyewitnesses. He was later taken to the nearest hospital by the locals.
The child was identified as Ahmad, and he was among one of the supporters who had gathered to greet Nawaz Sharif in Gujrat.
His dead body was later taken to the nearest hospital by the locals.
The boy’s uncle reached the hospital and said that they tried but remained unsuccessful in stopping the vehicle.
Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, in a statement, expressed her sorrow and said that it was an unfortunate incident.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in a tweet, said, “extremely sad incident of death of a child being reported. Local leadership has been asked to reach out to & assist the family without delay.”
