LAHORE: Albayrak Waste Management carried out special cleanup operations in different areas of the city after a heavy rainfall.
The sanitary staff focused on the choking points near Mozang, Circular Road, Shadman Roundabout, Hussain Chowk, Qaddafi Stadium, MM Alam and Main Market.
There are 150 choking points in Lahore, where the waste can clog the drainage system leading the rainwater to accumulate in the area.
The communications team of Albayrak also stepped out in Manawan during the rain. They urged the residents to not to litter the streets and avoid throwing waste near drains.
