LAHORE: An eight-year-old boy succumbed to injuries when he was hit with a brick in the Meherpura locality of Shahdara on Wednesday.
Police said Haider Ali, son of Meher Jameel, was playing in Tokriyan Wala Bazaar when the suspect, Shahbaz alias Bajo, threw a brick at him. The brick directly hit the child and injured him severely. He died on the spot.
According to City Division SP Adil Memon, the alleged culprit has been arrested and is said to be differently-abled.
