RAWALPINDI: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday (today) has declared Member Punjab Assembly Shaukat Bhatti ineligible after confirming that his graduation degree was counterfeit.
A five-member bench led by the Chief Election Commissioner announced the verdict on the case against the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz MPA.
Iftikhar Kiyani had submitted the disqualification petition against Bhatti. The MNA was elected as member Punjab Assembly from Constituency PP 4 Rawalpindi 4.
