PESHAWAR: A storm in the early hours of Tuesday (today) provided relief from the scorching heat wave in Peshawar and adjoining areas.
According to Met Office, howling winds were recorded at up to 87 kilometres per hour.
According to rescue authorities, two people were reportedly injured due to the storm.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has instructed the public to stay away from trees, signboards and electricity poles during the dangerous weather.
