MULTAN: A sixty-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her son in Multan for ‘honour’ late the other day. As per police reports, Kamran opened fire on his mother while she was asleep , killing her on the spot. He fled from the scene until Tuesday morning, when the police arrested him.
The suspect’s mother, Razia bibi had told local media outlet that Kamran had become dubious of his widowed mother’s ‘character’ after a relative had sent her a marriage proposal.
Officials said the suspect confessed to the murder during initial interrogation. A case has been registered at the Makhdoom Rashid police station on the complaint of the victim’s daughter.
