Mardan Police arrested around 254 proclaimed offenders, wanted in different cases of murder, robbery and others all over the district during the last month. District Police Officer Dr Mian Saeed Ahmad had instructed all the police officer to start a one-month campaign against the proclaimed offenders in the district.
During this campaign, 254 proclaimed offenders were arrested and 112 kg drugs and 23 Kalashnikovs, 11 rifles, 54 guns, 150 pistols and 3354 cartridges were recovered from their poccession.
The police also registered FIRs against 141 educational institutions and 238 rented houses. Traffic police challaned 2361 cars over traffic violations.
