LAHORE: Four workers were severely injured as a cylinder exploded in the Misri Shah area of Lahore, on Wednesday night.
The explosion occurred at a warehouse located at the Kacha Rahim Road near Haidri Chawk. According to reports, a fire erupted due to the explosion, which quickly spread and destroyed most parts of the warehouse.
According to the police, four workers named Babar, Wajid, Athar and Bilal were severely injured.
Rescue teams reached the spot and managed to bring the fire under control within an hour.
The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.
