It is a matter of great pride for the nation that our great cricketer Younis Khan reached milestone of 10,000 runs in Test cricket.
He is the first in Pakistan to achieve this honour and is in the club of 13 great players of Test cricket all over the world. Younis also holds the record of most centuries by Pakistani cricketers and also most double centuries.
In addition, he has scored centuries against all the Test-playing countries, maintaining an average of 50-plus runs.
I am sure the Pakistan Cricket Board will honour this great cricketer for bringing a good name to Pakistan cricket. He is ever smiling and throughout his cricketing career has maintained high discipline.
