ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has called on political parties to shun practice of dragging constitutional institutions into politics.

In an interview, she said the attempts by opposition to resort to this undesirable pursuit in the backdrop of the Supreme Court’s verdict on Panama papers case had even compelled the Chief Justice to tell Imran Khan during the hearing of a case that dissenting notes are a normal phenomenon throughout the world.

The Minister observed that a campaign to malign and generate controversy about the JIT as well as the institutions compelled ISPR to react.
