PESHAWAR: Grand Mosque of Makkah Imam Sheikh Saleh Mohammad Ibrahim along with Saudi Religious Affairs Minister Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh reached Peshawar on Thursday.
Upon his arrival today, the Iman was received by KP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yusuf and Jamiat Ulema-Fazl Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Akram Khan Durrani and the officials from the Saudi embassy were also present to receive them at the airport.
JUI-F’s Maulana Jalil Jan had earlier said that the Grand Mosque imam and Saudi Religious Affairs minister have been invited to celebrate the party’s three-day centenary celebrations starting Friday, APP reported.
The JUIF will hold centenary celebrations at Azakhel in Nowshera district, which will continue till April 9.
