LAHORE: Lahore police will officially appoint detectives in the police force to eliminate criminal activities in the metropolis.
As many as five detectives will be initially deployed in three divisions of police in the first phase. Inspector General Punjab has been contacted in this regard and would be a regular part of the police force.
This decision has been taken to revive effective performances of law enforcers as it was a very effective method back in the British rule.
