Turkish delegation calls on CM Shehbaz

A high-level delegation from the Turkish health ministry called on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif here on Sunday.

The delegation was led by Turkish Health Ministry Managing Director for International Health Policies Selami Kilic.

The delegation said that quality medical facilities were being provided at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh.

The chief minister appreciated the cooperation and assistance of the Turkish experts for improving the healthcare system in the province, adding that the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh was being extended to a 500 bed hospital.

The chief minister said that it was the government’s responsibility to improve the healthcare system till it lived up to the expectations of the people. He also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish experts for their help in improving the provincial healthcare system.

Provincial Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique and Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Adviser Dr Umer Saif, the chief secretary, medical experts, and other concerned authorities were also present on the occasion.
