PARIS: Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) air hostess was reportedly taken into custody for shoplifting at a mall in Paris.
Afshan Khalid was detained for five hours by French police for stealing cosmetic items at the shopping centre.
PIA station manager stepped in and helped to get her released from police custody. The arrest took place after the air hostess was spotted stealing articles at a shop, through CCTV cameras.
French officials released her with warnings that she might face trial in case she revisited the country.
