KABUL: An explosion occurred near the Supreme Court in the centre of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, on Tuesday, according to witnesses at a nearby government ministry.
An apparent suicide bomber targeted Supreme Court employees leaving their offices at the end of the working day; the number of casualties stands at 12 according to reports till now, police at the scene said.
Reuters witnesses reported blood stains on the street and numerous ambulances leaving the area.
Kabul police confirmed that a blast had been heard and they were still working to identify the exact location of it.
